2026 Workshop Proposal Solicitation for the NSLS-II & CFN Users' Meeting

The NSLS-II & CFN Users' Meeting planning committee is soliciting proposals for workshops to be held during the 2026 Users' Meeting.

Workshops for the meeting are designed to showcase the current work of NSLS-II and CFN users', as well as new techniques and scientific areas that we would like to see in the future. This year, the Users' Meeting will be held at Brookhaven National Laboratory from April 21-23, 2026. Workshops can be proposed for half a day, a full day, or split over two days. Please provide a strong justification if requesting a hybrid workshop.

All workshop topics are welcome, including proposals from fields such as energy security; microelectronics; quantum information science; artificial intelligence and machine learning; earth, environmental and planetary sciences; soft matter physics and life sciences; material science, condensed matter physics; and catalysis. We encourage proposals that introduce new communities to synchrotron science and nanoscience.

The deadline to submit your responses is Monday, January 12, 2026, 11:59 p.m. EST.
